    Saraswati puja is one of the celebrated in our country. This festival mostly falls in the month of Magh. This festival is celebrated for one day in a year. It is also known as Shree Panchami of Basant Panchami. People worship her as the goddess of education.
    It is considered that if small children start their studies from the day of Saraswati Puja, then they can be good in their studies.  For the same reason, most of the people take their small children to the Saraswati Templeans let them write on the wall of the temple with chalk on that day. Other different holy ceremonies are also organized on this day.
    This day is regarded as an important day for students. They wake up early in the morning. They go to the temple of Saraswati and worship her. They also do puja to their books and copies in this day. Similarly, they prepare red tika, flowers, fruits, and other holy things and take to their respective schools. There all teachers and students gather in certain places.
    They place ab big image of Saraswati in front of them. It is seen in the image that she wears white Sari and sits on a white swan and puts her feet on a white lotus. It is also said that her best color is white. A musical instrument, Bina is also seen int he image. All students and teachers worship her. They sing hymns related to the goddess, Saraswati. In the end, the Principal of the teachers of the priests put tika on every student's forehead and also give blessings.
